How can I alter the default sizes of paper in Microsoft Word

Many times when working with Adobe software, such as in Dreamweaver there will be times when you will require custom paper sizes for a form or document. One method you can accomplish this is to select a custom paper from the main page in the Document tab, or in the Page Setup window, if you have one open. To alter the size of the custom paper you have selected first click on the custom paper link on the main page, and then select the size of the paper you want to use. Click on the link to change the size of the paper within your document. Select the standard or custom size, and then alter the size.

In earlier versions of Dreamweaver there was an option to create a Page Layout option which could be found by clicking the custom link located at the top of the page, and then selecting Page Layout from the main menu. To change the custom size of your paper, click the custom link on the page layout view and select the size you want to use. To alter the size of the paper you have chosen in Dreamweaver earlier versions, you’ll need to enter the page layout view, click on the link for customized paper sizes, and then alter the sizes. To alter the sizes of your custom paper in Dreamweaver older versions, you will need to go to the main page and click on the option to layout your page.

To change the default printer for printing documents in Windows 10, go to the control for customizing page size, and click on the arrow next to the printing button. This will bring up the various options available, and enable you to change the default printer. To change the default printer, go to the Control Panel, and click on Settings, then under Default, click New.

To change your page setup – sometimes called page coordinates, go to the page setup window. There will be a slider for the layout of your page. This allows you to change and move the page setup. You can move the slider to one side of the screen and alter the custom sizes there. You can move it to the opposite side of the screen. In either scenario, the custom sizes will be changed.

To change the printer driver To change the driver for your printer, visit the device manager. To see the drivers for your printer, simply click the section that is associated with it. There are many devices listed. Some printers won’t display the driver because they haven’t been updated or their drivers are corrupted. Other drivers, such as your Microsoft driver, should be displayed here.

Once you have identified the device used by your application, you can examine the print server property. The print server properties column will display the sizes of paper that are available. It is common to click one of the options, like “small”, “wide”, or “normal”. In some cases, you will find that you are unable to change the custom-designed size of the paper there. If you are unable to select a size that you want here, go to the print menu and change the default size.

Click on the “sets” button next to “new size” in the print menu. A new size will appear and you can alter it by clicking on it. This button is typically located in the left-hand corner of the screen. If you see it you must click ok to proceed to the next step.

Once you have established the custom paper sizes correctly, you can save the change. You will see that the new size has been saved to the print driver. It is necessary to connect this driver to the printer to ensure that the application has been successfully installed. If you have already restarted the application, ensure that the new size has been saved prior to proceeding.
